Wichita Events is an Internet-based, print-at-home ticketing service. We are hired by our clients to sell THEIR tickets. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your event experience BESIDES the purchasing process, you must speak to a representative of the event venue at the box office before the event has concluded. Policies set forth by our clients do not allow us to exchange or refund tickets once an event has taken place for any reason.
Methods of Payment
Wichita Events accepts several methods of payment to meet customer needs, including (among others) VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit or debit cards for your purchases. For qualifying events, Wichita Events may also accept payment via PayPal or gift cards. At the discretion of the venue or event promoter, however, all of these options may be limited or may not be available for all events.
Pricing & Availability
Throughout the duration an event is on sale on our Site, the Wichita Events software will select the best possible seat location at that time, as determined by our clients. Wichita Events does not determine which seats are better than others. The venue where the event takes place decides in which order seats will sell. By utilizing the Internet, all of Wichita Events’ distribution points access the same ticketing system and inventory; therefore, tickets for popular events with a high demand may sell quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be available prior to the event or added to an event as it is selling. Wichita Events does not control this inventory or its availability.
After submitting payment information, if for whatever reason you do not receive an order confirmation through a page on our Site or a confirmation e-mail or you are experiencing an error message, it is your responsibility to confirm with Wichita Events customer service whether your order has been processed. Wichita Events will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was placed because you failed to receive confirmation.
A convenience fee (service charge) is assessed for each ticket purchased for the ease of purchasing tickets remotely. Delivery fees may also apply.
When purchasing tickets through Wichita Events, you are limited to a maximum number of tickets for each event per purchase. This ticket limit is clearly identified on the event page and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices. We reserve the right to cancel any or all orders and tickets if you exceed the posted limits, including orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.
Cancelled or Postponed Events
All ticketed events are to be held regardless of weather conditions. Sometimes weather or other outside considerations make the performance impossible to complete. In such instances, the event venue or the event promoter are charged with making the final determination of cancellation and refund availability. If your event is canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved to another venue, Wichita Events will attempt to contact you with details on the status of the event, and inform you of any refund, credit, or exchange procedures.
Opening acts or guests may sometimes tour with headlining performers. Wichita Events is not always made aware of opening acts or the length of their performances. These opening acts are subject to change or cancelation at any time without notice. No refund will be given if an opening act is changed or canceled unless the venue or promoter approves it.
Refunds & Exchanges
All sales are final and refunds are allowed only in limited circumstances as described in the Canceled or Postponed Events section above. Before purchasing tickets, it is your responsibility to carefully review your seat location, event, and performance date. Please note that seating maps are visually representative of a venue’s layout; however, they are subject to change at any time, and refunds are not allowed if the seating map is updated, if additional seats, sections or rows are added, or if seats change as a result of a venue change after purchase.
Policies set forth by our clients may prohibit Wichita Events from issuing exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased. Wichita Events will issue refunds ONLY if an event is canceled in its entirety. Refunds for canceled performances include the ticket price, but do not include the per ticket convenience charge(s) or order handling charge if any fees are collected for a chosen delivery option. Refunds for rescheduled events will be provided only with the venue’s or promoter’s approval. If an event is canceled and not rescheduled, refunds will automatically be applied to the credit card used by the customer at the time of purchase. In such instances, refunds will generally appear on your next account statement depending on your billing cycle.
For payments made via PayPal, refunds cannot be made to a PayPal account if the date of attempted refund exceeds the date of purchase by more than 180 days. In such instances, Wichita Events will attempt to contact you with details on an alternative refund method. For payments made via gift cards, we will attempt to refund to the original method of payment. If this is not feasible, we will contact you with details on an alternative refund method.
We cannot issue refunds to an alternate method of payment or card unless your refund is rejected by our system. In such instances, Wichita Events will attempt to contact you with details on an alternative refund method.
For processing orders, Wichita Events requires verification of the billing information, including the billing address. Submitting incorrect billing information may cause delayed processing and delivery. Wichita Events may attempt to contact you regarding problems verifying your information. If Wichita Events has reason to believe your purchase is fraudulent or otherwise in violation of our Terms, we may cancel your order.
Tickets unlawfully resold or attempted to be resold, counterfeit or copied tickets may be seized and canceled without compensation. Certain maximum resale premiums and restrictions may apply in some states, and Wichita Events cannot be responsible for providing legal advice regarding resale or pricing of tickets. You are responsible for complying with all applicable ticket resale laws. Wichita Events has the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing privileges to anyone that we determine to be, or has been, in violation of our policies. Wichita Events allows the customer to reprint tickets for THE CONSUMER’S USE ONLY. The unique two-dimensional QR code printed on all tickets will allow ONLY ONE ticket, the first ticket, to enter the event. You agree not to sell, reproduce for sale, alter, or counterfeit the ticket for any reason, and assume all financial liability for the copying of the user’s unique, QR-coded ticket. Wichita Events does not guarantee the form in which you will receive your tickets. Tickets may be re-issued via a different channel when requested by the venue. Additionally, “print-at-home” tickets may only be printed up to the time of redemption.
Wichita Events cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any non-authorized third party reseller (such as brokers or individuals). We recommend that you purchase tickets directly through us, or from the venue box office to ensure ticket authenticity.
Ticket Delivery & Will Call
If you have selected delivery through the mail, please allow at least fourteen days after placing your order for your tickets to arrive. For express delivery orders, please allow at least two business days for your orders to arrive. If you have not received your tickets within forty-eight hours of the event, please contact us at 1-316-206-3677. Wichita Events will only ship tickets via Fedex or USPS to the billing address of the card holder.
Occasionally, tickets may be available through will call for some events. Will call tickets are generally available one hour prior to the start time of the event. You will need to present the credit card used to purchase the tickets and a picture identification to pick up your tickets.
Note that some venues, teams and performers release tickets with a delivery delay. Delayed ticket delivery is used to prevent tickets from being accessed and printed until it can be confirmed that purchasers adhered to stated limits and did not employ unfair practices to make their purchase. Ticket delivery details are provided within your purchase confirmation email, or may be obtained by contacting us.
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect (regardless of whether there was an error in the price posted on the Site), you are able to order a ticket before its designated on-sale date, or you are able to order a ticket that is not supposed to be available for sale, Wichita Events shall have the right to cancel that order or ticket and refund to you the full amount that you paid, including fees.
Rejection & Ejection
Event staff reserves the right to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct the management deems to be disorderly or otherwise fails to comply with event rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event and no refund(s) will be issued.
You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event and that your appearance or actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public. You further agree to have no expectation of privacy regarding your conduct or actions at the event. You grant permission to Wichita Events, event management and promoters to utilize your name, image, likeness, appearance, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication, or reproduction made of, or at, the event for any purpose, without further authorization from or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf.
Subject to Search
Upon your entry into an event, you and your belongings may be subject to search. You hereby consent to such searches and waive any claims that may arise from such searches. If you refuse to undergo such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. Some venues may prohibit certain items from being brought onto the premises, including but not limited to, alcohol, drugs, cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, and containers.
