Travel to the heart of classical music with works from three centuries. Haydn’s elegance, Brahms’s powerful lyricism, and Clyne’s contemporary drive make this a compelling celebration of orchestral music.
Anna Clyne’s Restless Oceans draws inspiration and its title from a poem by Audre Lorde and was written to rouse the orchestra through the use of their voices, ultimately calling them to stand united.
Our voyage leads us into the heart of the Classical era, where Principal Cellist and Wichita State University professor Leonid Shukaev brings the cello to the forefront. Cello Concerto in C Major by Haydn is a timeless masterpiece brimming with elegance, wit, and grandeur.
Our symphonic journey concludes with deep emotions of Brahms’s Symphony No. 4 in E minor. Known for its emotional depth and intricate orchestration, this work stands as one of the pinnacles of the Romantic symphonic tradition. With its stirring melodies and complex harmonies, Brahms brings us to a powerful, unforgettable conclusion to our voyage.

Bag Policy
Currently, unless a specific show presents a bag policy they have, we have no restrictions. We just ask that the bag is not disruptive to any other patron’s experience by its size.
Camera Policy
Non-professional, non-flash still photography is permitted at most non-theatre events (disposable, digital and cameras with no detachable or interchangeable lens). Please note; for some events, at the request of the artist/performer/team, cameras of any type may be prohibited. Video recording devices, audio recording devices, monopods, tripods, and cameras with telephoto or interchangeable lenses (professional photography equipment) are not permitted inside Century II at any time. Management reserves the right to deny any electronic devise at their discretion.
