Wandering Wildflower Garden Club

Do you ever find yourself wondering about flowers? How about wandering through flowers? Come join our native garden club to get your hands dirty and gain some certainty about all your wildflower needs!

Every other Thursday we will be meeting at 9 am to work on the Native Pollinator Gardens, which are home to hundreds of resident pollinators. We may find ourselves planting, weeding, rockwork, watering, raking, and more!

Our pollinator garden is always needing more plants, rocks, and love! By maintaining this garden we are giving habitat to so many species of butterflies, bees, wasps, and other crucial pollinators. It also serves as a place to teach students of all ages about pollinator gardens and exactly what “native plants” are and why they as so important in Kansas. We appreciate the volunteers who put so much work into this plot and would love for you to join us!

Upcoming dates- April 13, May 11, June 8, June 22,
There is also the ability to work on the garden independently on your own time!

For more information please contact Bailey at bailey@gpnc.org or Katlin at katlin@gpnc.org

There will be space for all abilities, skill sets, and gardening experiences. All ages. 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. FREE.

Can’t make it? That’s okay! On the last Thursday of every month at 6pm we will hold a Wildflower Walk.

Please Note- On weeks that the Wandering Wildflower Garden Club and Wildflower Walk both land on the same day, the Garden Club will skip that week.
